Death Trap

We were recently called out to inspect what a customer thought was just a broken timer. Upon arrival, we found a dangerous, non-compliant setup left behind by a previous contractor who installed a loose MBCs and a standard domestic timer into a communal stair lighting setup.

MCBs require to be housed in a consumer box to help prevent electrocution.

We immediately stripped out the hazardous breakers, restored proper circuit protection, and installed a dedicated stair lighting timer to keep the building safe and compliant.
