Cheap Domestic Timers

We go to many timers that are not fit for purpose (pictured) . Edinburgh stair lights don't work properly with domestic timers as they don't track Edinburgh sun or automatically update for BST. This means the lamps and fittings will burn out quicker.

On this occasion there wasn't proper protection of the main service fuse either.

We replaced the timer with an astronomical timeclock and installed the correct level of protection for lights, timer and a fire panel
